YES! It is all about ME!

Just a reminder, this blog is about ME. period.

Some one prompted me earlier on, ‘ Why is it about you again?’ Hell, if my life ain’t about me, then who can it be about?

Think for yourself, when you read my blog, it is for your benefit. You, my dear reader gain something from me. and what do I gain from you, my dear reader? I gained a sense of existence. I said from the onset that this blog is a self expression of my opinions, as personal as they might be, I subject my opinions to the justification of the online society. After 340 posts, this has not changed. If someone think i suck. then i suck.

Even if i suck, it is still about me. Any apologies? none needed, none given.

Come on! who on earth lived for others? you cannot eat on your mother’s behalf, neither can you think for your brother. All we can do is influence, even that, contains a heavy dose of ‘me’ in the opinion.

Even if i seem to care about you, it is for my own self benefit, it makes me feel good caring for you and you feel good yourself, when someone cares for you. Altruism can only happens when everyone understand life in the spirit of selfishness.

Selfishness is different from self centeredness

Selfishness means you can collaborate, in a machiavellianism manner, so be it. I help a person so that the other person can help me back. I benefit from my own geneorisity. Self centeredness is about taking and not giving back, and taking some more. that upsets the equilibrium and people starts to withdraw from the transaction.

Be selfish! know what is in it for you! as you and you alone will benefit from it. Don;t buy that lie to be a selfless, giving generous person. you does things for your own needs and wants, the sooner you can come to terms with that the less problem you are going to have with yourself.
