Kampong Buangkok

I went with my friend Philip to this quaint backward place tucked in a corner of

cosmopolitan Singapore. ‘Kampong Buangkok’ as it is famously known, it is the last village on mainland Singapore.

It is now a very popular photographer’s haunt. as it has a certain escapist appeal to the hustling and bustling life of a Singapore rat race. Things ain’t so ‘happening’ in a kumpong life.

Well, let the picture tells the story…

Cats, they roam free in Kampong Buangkok, while the dogs are kept within

the house compound. I wonder if cats are more civilised to let out as compared to dogs?

My Friend Philip, has been my photographic partner for years.
